The Elmo and Cookie Monster Giggle Ball is great!!! It is a fun way to introduce my baby son to two Sesame Street characters. The voices and laughter are so much fun and the way the ball vibrates / wiggles after Cookie Monster, Elmo or both of them laugh is fun. My little guy is trying to figure out how to activate the voices / giggles and wiggles. I have always liked Sesame Street so I am having fun with it also!

My 16 month old son loves this toy. It has logged many hours in the car and has even flown across the country with us. We don't leave home without it! He loves to press the button to hear Elmo and Cookie talk and also enjoys the vibration greatly. At a playdate with all one year olds, they swarmed together to play with it. The only bad part is that the Cookie side stopped working and I had to buy a second one. Now he plays with both of them!!

Elmo and Cookie Monster - together again. This toy is cute. When you push Elmo's mouth, he says "Jiggly, Giggly! Ha ha ha ha!" as the ball vibrates. Push Cookie Monster's mouth, and he says "Shaky, Shaky! Ha ha ha ha! Whooooa!" If you pay too much attention to Elmo (press him 3 times in a row) Cookie says "Hello?" Likewise, if you press Cookie 3 times in a row, Elmo says, "Elmo's turn!" Push the two together and they say "Giggle Monsters!" and laugh. This toy is not very soft (it's not plush) and the inner mechanics make it heavier than you would expect. The eyes and Elmo's nose make it pretty useless for rolling. But the sounds and vibrations make my twin 20-month old boys smile, and they play with it on occasion, but it doesn't keep them occupied for long stretches. As for durability, it appears well-made, but I don't think ours has been used enough to really put it to the test. Overall, it's cute, but I think I like it more than the boys do.

My 14 month old nephew does like the toy for a VERY short time. It does make him smile. He tries to push the button, but can't yet. The giggling/vibrating time is too short. Be aware that it is NOT a soft toy nor a ball. If thrown at, it could hurt a child.

My daughter received this for her first birthday. It's really cute and she likes the vibrating, but truthfully I've probably played with it more than she has. The switches are tiny and have to be pressed with a moderate amount of pressure. My daughter hasn't been able to indpendently make it work. She wants to be independent and isn't really interested in hand over hand help so this toys gets limited play time.

When my grandson was born my nephew bought him a Cookie Monster. He has been sleeping with one since, he is now 10. He is probably on his 5th one as Cookie gets dirty and ragged. I bought this for my niece's first birthday. She's always had a small Cookie Monster, and he's now became her favorite character. When I saw this I had to get it for her. It's almost as big as she is! And she loves really soft things. She liked it so much when I gave it to her that she had to give it a kiss! If there was a bigger one, I would have bought it, but this was the biggest I could find. It has a bean bottom and a stiff spine, so it can sit up by itself. But it's so soft you just can't resist cuddling up with it! It was definately wrote every penny I spent when I saw how much my little niece liked it.

My 1 yr old loves Cookie Monster so I got him this larger version for a birthday present. He loves it. Very soft, furry, and cuddly. He bear hugs him to sleep at night. The spots on the eyes have gotten a bit scratched but not too bad. He sets up well with his rigid spine but it doesn't affect his hugability. A good buy.

I got this for my 10 month daughter and she adores it. She laughs and squeals with delight when she pulls the pacifier out of Elmo's mouth and he goes from humming to singing. After Elmo is done singing he then pleads for his "binky" (too cute). This item is a great value too.

My daughter is 6 mos. and has had this for about a month. (Younger than recommended age) She loves this Elmo. She can easily pull out the pacifier, and tries to put it back in- sometimes successfully. I noticed at the store that some of them were much harder than others to pull the binky out and place it back in. I bought one that is very easy. She has a couple more Elmos, but this one is the best. It's not annoying like others can be, and it's softer, and easier for her to hold. Sings a song when you pull out the binky, then hums when you replace binky in his mouth. It teaches cause and effect.

My 3 year old daughter asked for a new "Mo - Mo" and we have purchased several in the past. I was looking for one a little different and this one did it. It is so cute when you stick Elmo's passy in his mouth while he is singing. I found it quickly on Amazon without having to drive to a local toy store.....it was here within days and in GREAT condition. I highly recommend this toy for all Elmo fans.

It's overall a nice soft toy, but his tummy is kind of hard because the electronics are stored there. Elmo has trouble sitting up on his own, so you have to put his back against something, but that works out ok because I'm assuming most people will be using this toy in a crib. I like to play with it and I'm in my mid-20's, wish we had cool toys like these when I was younger. However, this isn't for me, I got this for my baby who is due in a couple of months. :)

My daughter is 20 months old and she just loves this wand. She holds it while she watches Abby Cadabby and when Abby taps it, she taps it as well. She also will carry it around with her and tap on things just to hear the sound. She has had nights where she wants to sleep with it, and since it is a soft toy, I have let her. She has a great time with the wands an I would highly recommend this toy to other Abby fans. It is so cute to hear your schild go "Poof" like Abby does. I also have a friend who has a 3 year old and she also loves the toy, when my daughter puts it down long anough for her to play with it.

We bought this for our daughter for Easter she played with it alot she enjoys giving Elmo his milk and taking the underwear on and off. However the potty that he comes with is very small and very heard even for me to keep him balanced on it, they need to make the potty bigger for him to sit on. I like how if Elmo doesnt get to the potty he will comment that accidents happen. The DVD only has clips of the Elmo goes potty movie. But is short enough my two year old will watch parts of it. Overall she likes the toy.

OK, I don't have kids and I got this thing as a gag gift. But it has more smiles per gallon that anything I've seen in a while. The tickle-me-elmo is just plain annoying unless you're 2 or have had unfortunate head trauma recently. But this thing is so bizarrely funny that I'm considering doll-napping it to fire up on rainy days or after scratching off another losing lottery ticket. The singing pizza is the piece-de-resistance, no pun intended. It will give you pause next time you order a slice for fear that you're eating an endangered species. Like eating dolphins or puppies.

I normally don't write reviews but I'll make an exception in this case. I gave Pizza Party Elmo as a Christmas Gift to my 4 year old cousin. The look on his face when he opened the package was nothing short of unforgettable. Elmo is one of his favorites anyway but dressed in a brightly colored apron, with his chef's hat on, and holding his favorite food was almost too much. His face lit up and he could hardly wait for his dad to get Elmo out of the packaging. But the best part was the singing pizza. By this time the adults were hooked also. This toy is well worth the $. Cute, Cute, Cute!

My daughter had seen this in the store one day and mentioned how she thought my grandaughter would like this but she passed it up cause it was expensive and she had enough dolls. I saw this here for $15.00 and immediately purchased it and gave it to my 2 year old grandaughter. She was delighted and so was I. You put elmo on your shoulder and pat him and he burps. He asks for his bottle and you put his hand which is holding the bottle into his mouth and you hear him drinking. You lift his arm up and he falls asleep and a lullaby plays. I thought elmo was very endearing. Well worth the $15.00 I paid.

I purchased this for my 2 year old's birthday. She loves Elmo, but hasn't paid much attention to the doll. Although this is how she is with all her toys right now. I gave educational value 3 stars because I can't see how educational it is. The price was great compared to other stores such K Mart and Walmart, amazon had the best price.

This was given to my 20 month old as a gift. She loves to hold it against her tummy while it "giggles" and makes vibrations and she'll erupt into laughter! It was fun to watch her figure out the separate faces and that they each said different things. It's been very durable, as she likes to throw around anything that looks even remotely like a ball for the dog to chase. It's still giggling as good as ever even after many rough contacts with the floor and some dog slobber, as well as my wiping it down afterwards to rid it of dog slobber. I am sorry to hear about the other reviewer's issue with it's safety. We've had absolutely no problems with Bert and Ernie's safety in our house; we've just had lots of laughs and smiles!

I bought this as a gift and it arrived with dead batteries. It is packaged tightly so I had to open it to put new batteries in. All in all, not bad but beware that is has been sitting for awhile and the batteries may be dead.

We got this giggle ball as a gift, and at first, we thought this was great. However, the hair on top of the giggle ball comes out way too easily. My infant son would pull on the hair and a couple of hairs would come off. I then just tried to pull hairs out to see if they would and they did. For a baby that loves to put toys in his mouth (and what baby doesn't), I found that this item was unsafe.

Toy is advertised as new LARGER SIZE! If by larger one means half an inch then this is larger. There is really no difference between this one and the 14.5 inch Grover available for 7$ less here at Amazon. Toy is cute and floppy as stated, but not really larger.

Great for Adults....and kids

I run a daycare center and bought one of these yesterday- mostly because I thought it would be a great thing to have on my desk- something for adults and children to play with while they were in my office. I pulled it out of the box, and it was ready to go- batteries included, and only 3 of those annoying wire ties to unloosen. I figure what fun is having him, if you don't play with him? I got to see adults and children from the ages of 6 months to 9 years play with it. First, for the babies- it is an action toy that they want to put their hands on. However, if you do, you have to start him all over again. Some babies were petrified of the sudden movements that elmo made. Other babies couldn't wait to get their hands on it. Toddlers reacted the same way. I guess it will just depend on them. The older the kids were who interacted with elmo, the more they liked it, and could understand the humor in it. Lastly, the people who liked this toy the most was the teachers, and parents. The belly laugh and the floor pounding was awesome. It made everyone laugh. Which was the point of my buying it. His laugh is contagious and cute, and although I usually find most elmo stuff annoying, this for some reason didn't get on my nerves at all. I just loved seeing the reaction that people had watching him. He will have a long life living on (or near) my desk. Hope this helped you out if you were looking for a real life review of this toy... DD loves this Elmo. It is great to watch her try to imitate his giggle. Elmo giggles, rolls on the floor, and moves his arms up and down. He also stands back up from sitting and laying on the floor. He is too funny! One thing he is not is soft. To accomplish all this, it seems that Fisher Price needed to leave some stuffing out. If you are looking for a toy for your child to hug and cuddle, this is not it. TMX is more of an action toy.

I have seen all the reviews and I have seen the video of this little guy and have wanted one, yes only one, for my 20 month old for Christmas. While I have watched the prices go higher and higher on Ebay and Amazon, I REFUSED to pay the outlandish prices. Well, my waiting paid off! Today I got one from the Walmart website!!! A little FYI: they update their computors periodically throughout the day. When you see it come up as in stock, click on it to put into your cart, if it says Sorry Sold Out, LEAVE IT IN YOUR CART! Then keep refreshing the page. They are releasing them in small quantites and you will likely get one if it's in your cart. Good luck and don't give up. Persistance pays off!!!

The best Elmo Yet!

My 20 month old has Shout Elmo, Chicken Dance Elmo & Limbo Elmo. This is by far the most amazing Elmo out there. This doll rolls around, pounds his fists laughing, slaps his knee and gets himself back up every time. It is really amazing. Fisher Price outdid themselves with this one. $34.99 (on sale at K-mart the 1st day) is a little higher then the other Elmo's, but in my opinion it is worth it. You will not be disappointed with this Elmo!

An ACTUAL review of ELMO TMX

To those that are looking for an actual review of Elmo instead of reading about all the complaining going on here. We bought Elmo TMX yesterday morning for our [2 1/2 year old ]daughter after seeing him on Good Morning America. Just seeing her reaction to watching him on TV I knew he was going to be a big hit. We ran out to our local Target and purchased him. We had to open him in the car and she hasnt put him down since. She even took him to bed with her last night. This is a fun toy. Our grandbabies got this for their birthday and love her! She has a cute voice with funny phrases ("Twinkle off!) that kids love. She's the kind of doll little ones like to cuddle with and carry around. Abby and Tickle Me Elmo are such a great, user-friendly pair. I enjoy playing with her too! She makes us all (both adults and kids) laugh! Can't ask for anything better.

My daughter got this for Christmas and Abby instantly became her favorite. She sounds just like the character does on tv, says several short phrases and sings a song. My daughter is 2 and is able to activate the voice part by herself (some toys are too hard for her to squeeze) and the sound is not make-you-deaf loud like some toys. The only complaint I have is that the wand came off and I had to sew it back onto her hand. However, considering how much love this Abby is getting I shouldn't complain! She is also the perfect size for my 2 year old to carry around (which she does, all the time!). As far as being educational, this toy certainly is encouraging imaginative play which is very important in the development of small children. My daughter loves to pretend that she is also a "fairy-in-training" even to point of insisting that she wears her hair the same way!

I gave this to my 3-year old granddaughter who loves Abby...by squeezing her stomach she says different "Abby" expressions. She is light and soft, and I recommend her for a younger child as well. She comes with a DVD which she hasn't played as yet,so I can't review, but just the fact that the sound is so clear and she is soft and cuddly would have been enough without the dvd!

My great niece and great nephew were visiting the US from Israel over this past Chanukah. This toy was purchased for them. In the midst of travel back to Israel, they lost Abby. they began to "pretend play" after that with Elmo, wondering what Abby would have done in certain situations. When I recently traveled to Israel, I was asked to find a replacement for the lost Abby. Since I bought the "set" of both Abby and Elmo, it enabled my other nephew to have his own Elmo. Now all three children play happily with the small plush toys.

Help! Brokenhearted Baby!

This is my daughter's absolute favorite toy. When it's working it's really cute. She's only had it for about a week, but she already sings along with Abby's song and gets so excited when Abby "flies". The only problem is, Abby doesn't sing or fly anymore. She goes through her first two phases, but she does nothing when you push the button for the third time and doesn't say "Again, again" or "Twinkle out" when you don't hit the button again. I changed her batteries and now she doesn't even do the first two every time anymore. I hope I can figure this out because as I type, she's pushing Abby's button and saying "Mama, Abby no fly." Help!

My 3 year old son loves Ernie. He also has the greatest laugh in the world. So it was reasonable to assume he would love Tickle Me Ernie. Well he did and does and we all have a blast watching him tickle and tackle Ernie and laugh. He has gone into 10 minute laughing streaks and it just makes everyone else around here laugh too. It's very contagious. He has had it for about 2 months and been pretty rough with it. There is no significant damage other than a frayed seam on one hand. Put into context that is really good considering he carries it on his tricycle (I've seen it drop out and get dragged too), up and down stairs and did I mention he likes to tackle Ernie and bear hug him while he's laughing. We just purchased a second one as a birthday present for one of his pals. It has already met this friend's approval while visiting our house for playtime. I know this is a hit and highly recommend it for this age group.

This is a great hand puppet. Soft, large, well made and ADORABLE. I bought Zoe, as well as Burt, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Grover, Oscar, Big Bird and of course Elmo for my 3 year old neice. She was so happy to have them! They are not at all hard to use. Put your 4 fingers on the top of the mouth, thumb on bottom and "talk" away. She really loved these and I really love making her happy!

My daughter got this from my husband's Aunt when she was in town visiting. She loves her and her and cuddle and care Elmo(She got for Christmas from the same Aunt) so much. They both sleep with her and they go everywhere we go. Which can be kind of annoying when she drops one and can't reach it. Over all I love this product and really no complaints. Abby's hair is matted now but that is because of how much love she has been given by my 21 month old. Thinking about buying a back up just encase. I would say buy this if your daughter loves sesame street.

My 22 month old loves this tickle me elmo special edition new tricks. She dances to the music with elmo. I do need to help my daughter with pushing the sensor to activate elmo. She is learning though. We had it for 1 week so far and she loves carrying elmo around.

I didn't know what all the fuss was about...now I know! My 15 mo. old daughter loves this thing! He's not your run of the mill Tickle-Me-Elmo; he has puzzles to solve (off the internet site) to find other "special" tickling tricks...like hiccuping or making goofy sounds with movements, etc. She laughs every time! My husband and I can't help but laugh as well. It is pretty cute! :)

I bought this toy for my son's first Christmas. He was far to young (7.5 months) to push the right spots on command and figure out Elmo's special tricks, HOWEVER... he really loves this toy! He smiles and laughs at it...he has learned to crawl towards it... sometimes he does hit the right spot and is so proud when Elmo giggles! I do wish the body was a bit more padded, however the animation built into this toy is amazing! This toy is also on the LOUD side... we have to play it in a spacious room, it scared my son in his crib or a small room. A volume control would be a nice addition. Overall, my whole family enjoys this TMX eXtra Special Edition Elmo! We play with him several times a week!

I ordered this for my daughter who has recently become an Elmo fanatic. She is only 13 months old, so I wanted to get her something cuddly. While this Elmo doll is realistic, good quality, and pretty much everything advertised, it is HARD, HARD, HARD. Rather than being filled with soft stuffing, it feels like bean bag material. I imagine this will be a good doll for when she is a bit older, but for now, I will have to find something softer. This is definitely no fault of the product, just a consequence of shopping online I guess. Unlike other reviews for Elmo dolls, this one does not shed and is shaggy, which is a plus. I would recommend this for older children.

Just what I was looking for!

I had originally ordered the 15 inch elmo and found him to be very small. I bought this one instead. The size is great, going to be perfect for my 18 month old. As far as previous reviews saying his body is hard, he isn't super hard. His arms and legs are the normal stuffing. While his body is slightly harder, with thicker stuffing and the only bean bag beans he has are on his bottom. This helps him to sit up without falling over... His eyes are cloth instead of the hard plastic on the smaller 15 inch version and his mouth is also made out of cardboard just like the smaller 15 inch one, this keeps his mouth open in a permanent grin. All in all I think this is a great sized Elmo, very well put together. He is shaggy, but does not shed like the Fisher Price Elmo. I would recommend for 18 months and up, a smaller child might not be able to carry him around very well simply because of his size.

We bought this Elmo doll for our 18-month old daughter this year for Christmas. So far, he seems to be pretty durable. I like that his eyes are made of fabric rather than plastic. So far, his red fur is staying on him. I was hesitant about paying almost $40 for a stuffed animal, but it looks like this guy is going to be around for a long time!

This is very well made and so cute. Oscar's can even has a little handle on top that my son uses to carry him around. It is not quiet as soft and cuddly as the other characters in the collection (due to the texture of the fabric on the can), but the collection wouldn't be complete with out him. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my 1 year old Actually I have to admit I bought this more for me and my wife It is so funny and is sure to put a smile on your face While my daughter is too young to know how to make him laugh she gets a kick out of him every time I haven t had any mechanical problem on my unit to this point about 3 weeks of use Highly reccomended By far the best of the three Ernie is pretty good too the Elmo is just annoying in my opinion

My daughter adores this Grover toy I don t know why it says it has small parts unless they re afraid that the eyes and the nose might come off But the toy seems pretty durable to me I love the blue color and the softness of the fur It s gotten a lot of mileage And although they claim that it is only surface washable I ve thrown it in my front loading washing machine and dryer medium setting and it came out as good as new

I happen to be a big kid that is someone who bought this for the sake of adding to my collection of items that remind me of my childhood when I m feeling blue and feeling perhaps bluer than Cookie Monster himself I can tell you that this plush delivers It is extremely soft which Gund toys are always famous for It is of the feel of a bean bag sort of cuddly and indeed under stuffed in areas to make it that way with some beans or whatever in the tush The material is outstanding sort of shaggy like we know of this character It is not like other ones I have seen where the fur lies close to the body It s more keeping to the Cookie we see on TV The colour is an exceptional one of bright blue The eyes give the illusion of those famous google eyes we all grew up seeing one up one sort of tilted down The mouth is great because it is partly open like when Cookie speaks This toy would probably be great for little cookie parties with your child I can see a youngster giving a little cloth or plastic cookie to him and this is possible with that open mouth The arms are great because when positioned in just such a way they sort of fold around your shoulder when you hold him They are the lightest part of the design I think for that reason A great thing for a child to hold Overall this is a fantastic item I smile to think of the simple joys it will bring to children who receive it For me it does well to remind me of my own childhood years of relishing Sesame Street and this unforgettable character

This is actually the second cookie monster I bought The first lasted less than 24 hours thanks to my dog who thought this toy was great for chewing However the second toy is holding up well My 5 month old daughter loves it It is the perfect size for her to play with I think she likes the bright color It is super soft and she loves to hold it

I ve always thought the Cookie Monster was so cute My parrots have a small TV in their room and I used to tie balloons to the top of it to keep them from flying up there But then I discovered that they wouldn t go near stuffed toys I already had a Cat in the Hat but he only covered half of the top of the TV Cookie Monster now sits on the other half I don t know if the birds like him or not but I think he s really cute And since they have a few Sesame Street DVD s maybe they recognize him I ve posted a couple of pictures on this page If you re thinking of getting him for a child he s really soft and seems pretty durable I think a child would like him too

After one week here is my review Pros 1 Well designed toy but leaves more to be desired 2 He sings tells jokes dances has animated fluid aka lifelike mannerisms 3 Recognizes when he has fallen over and politely asks for help The sneeze sequence is hilarious 4 He does a lot of things that really personify the toy i e thanks you if you help him up goes bonkers if you squeeze his nose laughs yawns asks you to dance with him etc To a 2 4 year old Elmo does indeed comes alive Cons 1 The servo noise can be distracting most of the time 2 The red terry cloth skin is way too thin and fragile 3 It would be nice if Elmo is cushier and has another programing sequence when lying down so that children can go take him to bed with them 4 It would be nice if Elmo is expandable in the sense that you can add more programs via Bluetooth USB cartridge expansion Otherwise Elmo will become boring real fast Elmo Live is an innovative and engaging toy for children between 2 4 years of age He is worth the MSRP compared to other toys but NOT MORE If it wasn t for the economy Elmo Live would likely be all over the news and the hottest toy of the holiday season

I was lucky to grab the last Elmo today locally and my three kids a 2 year old 5 year old and a 7 year old have been playing with Elmo ever since They absolutely love it The neighbors and other family members have been over to see Elmo go He does sooooo many things tells stories does dances plays games and other quirky fun things It is so life like it keeps the kids and adults amazed My sister has struck out at many stores today and has been told it will be very hard to find this christmas So if you find one grab it as these are definitely THE hit toy this year

Fun for Muppet Fans and Their Kids

Pros As someone who has grown up with the Muppets this is quite ground breaking in terms of realism Elmo s mouth movements are like that of the actual puppet on Sesame Street When on the floor he actually is at eye level with the toddler He is great for getting your child active as he encourages them to get up and dance If not played with he automatically shuts off The best part about this Elmo is he is not creepy like some of the Elmo toys that have come out in the past Cons He is not soft by any means the only thing between your child and the frame of the toy is a thin layer of red fur There aren t many stories and he is very repetitive You have to have him on a good solid surface or he falls over if he is mid story during the fall he does not continue from where he left off before he fell Overall A great toy for Muppet fans who have little Muppet fans of their own

My 2 yr old recent went and saw ELMO LIVE so we wanted to get an elmo doll other than the pricey ones sold at the concert This was a great one While it does have the hard eyes we re ok with that just have to watch her so she doesn t bonk her little baby sisters on head with elmo doll but certainly not a manufacture s defect or anything He is soft and his longer hair is loved by my 2 yr old who takes elmo to bed with her Only thing I ve seen is some of the hair strands fall out a little like a shedding dog not a major issue and not a lot just every so often I find a little red fuzz on couch or carseat where elmo was sitting We love our elmo and recomend this product great price and good sized doll no product flaws here

There are some reviews that complain that the fluff comes off I suggest washing it a couple of times and you shouldn t run into that problem I bought this for my 20 month old and she loves it She doesn t love it as much as her blank ee and her lamb ee but she loves holding Elmo and hugging him It is well built in my opinion and I would definitely recommend him but definitely wash him a couple of times first

I chose this Elmo plush toy to be my son s first Elmo because I thought it would be nice to go classic I just received him today Although he is rather cute He wasn t exactly what I was expecting However that is more of my misconception rather then anything else The Elmo is a reasonable size However his eyes are quite heavier then the rest of his body So he does flop over don t expect him to sit up very well He is made of a shinier fur material that is very satiny He is very soft but not over stuffed But not so much like a typical furry plush I found this Elmo to still be very cute and my son fell instantly in love with him

This is one amazing toy I m not sure of the exact height I forgot to read that part but my guess is 18 to 20 inches So to little toddlers it will appear to be playmate size The only reason I even know about this toy is because my 5 year old niece has one and I saw a demonstration It is a very life like animated entertainer He tells stories sings songs sits on a provided stool crosses his legs mouth moves in sync with talking and singing If you knock him over he ll say something like Oops Elmo fell down and when you pick him up he says You re my best friend Build a little stage Gather the little ones together Elmo will provide a wonderful show I think it takes about 10 minutes for Elmo to go through his whole routine I m considering buying one for myself

After you get past all the safety latches on the elmo live encore you will be amazed at how life like they have made elmo in comparison to some of the other versions rock n roll elmo and limbo elmo come to mind One thing that I consider negative is that his speaking singing instrumental voice is loud For a toy that doesn t travel and is meant to be watched and poked it doesn t seem an appropriate volume I would hate for someone to scream a short story at me Second his body is kind of hard plastic so he is not snuggable I would have thought that they would have fixed that from the first version but I guess they didn t have enough time to add some stuffing A suggestion would be to add some clothes to him maybe an infant coat if you want to snuggle with him Although his jokes aren t funny the fact that he has crickets chirping and then laughs at himself is definitely funny This toy is just entertaining and it doesn t need to be anything else I can t see anyone learning anything from it maybe if he had interactive question answer that would be more helpful but when they create that it probably wont be worth the price they want to charge The mechanism is quieter than the first version or else they just raised the volume on the speaker but either way it is less noticeable All in all I think it is a great toy if you can get it at a discount not worth the original price We purchased it for forty nine ninety nine and I can live with that

My wife has all of the Elmo Live type dolls and this one is adorable Anyone will enjoy it She took it to a retirement home and was immediately surrounded by lots of elderly people and they could not stop laughing

My 19 month old grandaughter is an elmo lover who isn t so I got Elmo live encore for her for Christmas In the meantime I took her to a toy store where she sat in front of the boxed Elmos pushing his stomach and laughing at his antics This is a great toy they have thought of everything educational and fun together The price at Amazon beats most of the stores the delivery was great and I know there will be one happy grandaughter come Christmas Love Amazon and Elmo Grandma Lin
